DREAM WIZARD
Hi there! I believe nothing is a better measure of a being than the words of those that love them. So let’s start with a biography written by my wife, my best friend, and the love of my life across fractal eternities.
"Aaron Fors is a passionate actor, dialectologist, writer, and all around performer. He is a weaver of stories, with threads of magic, science, wonder, and love. He is a collector of information, skills, and wisdom. He also crafts with his hands, leather-working and woodworking. His two cats and wife (honorary third cat) love him very much, and are spoiled by his cooking.
He does all the things. Want a thing done? He can probably do it."
I’ve been a storyteller since before I could speak. But you can only do so much with eyebrow wiggles, so I decided to put some skill points into speech.
I create because I believe art shapes not just the future, but our perception of the present. Art entertains, educates, and enlightens us. It gives us hope when we are in darkness, and the strength to fight back against the void. Our stories lend a voice to the voiceless, they makes us feel less alone, and they give us an infinite number of alternative frameworks on which to build our sense of self, our worldview, and our ethics when the examples around us just won’t do. Stories and the artists creating them saved me again and again from a very young age. Art is as serious and sacred as surgery to me.
I was most recently the lead in the feature film “As Long As I’m Famous” playing Sidney Lumet. As well as starring in the features “Last Call In The Doghouse” and “Married Alive”.
I am a professional dialectologist, linguist, and constructed language creator for films. I specialize in collecting hundreds of detailed and authentic dialects from around the world, created dialects for fantasy worlds and far off futures, as well as period dialects, dead languages, and alien languages. (Klingon, Romulan, Kelpien, Vulcan) I believe in the value of accuracy down to not only the region, but the section of the city, the socioeconomic background, and individual character, and I use this specificity in my work, and in training others. The work always shows.
I am an extreme athlete, stunt performer and choreographer specializing in martial arts and equilibristics/cirque skills. I practice multiple forms of martial arts, (Tae Kwon Do 2nd dan, boxing, Kung Fu, BJJ) archery, rapier, broadsword, kendo, and stage combat. I love rock climbing, powerlifting, parkour, and traditional bellydance.
In 2024 I wrote my first two novels “Pancake Heroes” a 120,000 word urban fantasy with tinges of cosmic horror, and “Peanut Butter and Pickles Won’t Keep on Mars” an 88,000 word Hard Scifi YA. I wrote and sold several short stories, most notably my love letter to Bigfoot with “Best Foot Forward” in Weird Wilderness: A Cryptid Anthology by Wordfire Press.
As an audiobook narrator I recently narrated Penny Poulsen Watson’s coming-of-age opus “More Than a Hashtag” and Mark Leslie’s horror anthology “One Hand Screaming”.
As of 2025 my first feature film as a writer/director is in development. A psychedelic scifi with heart adapted from one of my short stories.
I am a leatherworker, woodworker, painter, costume creator, gamer, Rubik’s Cuber, programmer and ethical hacker. Currently accepting bribes in these currencies: Good books, coffee, cherries, anything coconut.
A good story enriches the world, a great one can save it. Let’s get to work shall we?
